Who are we?

Created by handlers for handlers

As members of the country's second-oldest canine unit, steeped in rich history and the latest police reforms, we embarked on a journey to explore innovative training approaches that would not only enhance our unit but also foster stronger trust with our community. During this process, we recognized that some of the tools at our disposal were being underutilized and not integrated effectively. To address this, we formulated a comprehensive curriculum that focused on collaborative efforts between pilots and handlers, aiming to create optimal outcomes during tense situations.

Through our carefully crafted training program, we not only improved our own unit's capabilities but also extended our knowledge to other departments. By teaching them to work together harmoniously, we provided them with an additional means to safely de-escalate dangerous incidents. This collaborative approach has proven to be a valuable asset in enhancing public safety and strengthening the bond between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
